5 Authors worth binge reading
When an author can create a connection with their reader for not only the entirety of a novel but for their entire catalog, it creates a bond that is that much more special for a reader.
These authors have created collections of works that do just that, convincing their voracious fans to read through not one, but all of their novels, excitedly devouring one after the other.
1.Louise Penny
Still Life is the premium mysterious story of penny's chief Gamache series. These series would take you on a journey that you have never experienced before. Once YOU START READING THE FIRST INSTALLMENT "still life", you'll become addicted to these enigmatic books. The mystification of the murder plot of Jane Neal who was discovered death in the wood in the alluring Three Pines (a magical place), and was believed by all the locals that his mortality was just a horrible accident. However, Gamache is not just any average dude; he's a sage man that cannot be fooled. He sensed that something was wrong and started immediately investigating. Still life is a story that is more than just the investigation of a crime, besides its richness of tenacity and purity, the story explores the depth of our human nature and the complexities of being a human being.
In this part there's no going back, you'll find yourself attached and curious about what's going to happen next. Guess what? You will never know because the ambiguities in this series are beyond what we expect. THIS TIME in this installment, the story evolves and reach the peak of excitement. Penny after a long wait revealed the plot line that was honestly a challenge to grasp, because she used only to signal in the beginning and middle of the book series. This is completely engrossing.
This part is so special, with the use of chiaroscuro- the treatment of light and shade in arts which grant the story a sweet bitter taste. A trick of the light shows the comeback of Gemache to Three Pines to clear up a crime that is completely unusual. Tears will be shed, smiles would be broken, and inside every joyful face lays a grumpy heart. AND it has become hard to believe what is true and what's not even to Gemache and his squad because sometimes light can be tricky.
2. Marisa de los Santos
This is the story you would want to dive deep in, Love Walked in was written by Marisa de los Santos who is an award winning poet which will explain the breath taking lines and descriptions in this novel. Marisa will take us on a journey full of astonishments and altering moments of love. You’ll never feel the same when real love walks in inside your soul.
Belong to me is the follow up for Love walked in that can be read alone, it would be a more enjoyable read when viewed together. This one is ranted over than love walked in, but i found them both pleasurable. Belong to me is served beautifully as a glass of wine in a golden cup for the readers, an alluring novel about what we think is an accident, that seems to shape our choices of whom we fall in love with and choose to share our story with. After reading this novel, you'll understand the real meaning of belonging to someone wholeheartedly.
Los SAntos came back with Falling Together after her two successful novels Love walked in and Belong to Me, A truly touching story about friendship, family and love. This is a story of that reveals the ramifications of intimacy, sadness and human essence.
3. Liane Moriarty
Have you ever started reading a book and couldn't stop until you finished it? This is going to be one of those books, for all the ladies wondering "how did they get here? ». WHAT ALICE FORGOT IS ONE OF THE MASTER PIECES written by Moriarty, her work is smoothly readable and engaging. I really appreciate this novel because it teaches the art and beauty of starting over despite the bad circumstances that life puts us through.
Cecilia Fitzpatrick a committed wife and mom who stumbled on a letter that contains confidential matters and dark secrets of her husband, this letter will change everything, not only Cecilia's life, but also two other Australian women who found themselves crossed together by faith and mysteries. Moriarty's work is fascinating and light hearted.
BIG Little lies is depicts the lives of three women, each at a different path, but will eventually intersect because they share the same nursery school. A terrible murder will occur at the school playground. This is a dark comic that you have to necessarily to stay tuned with in order to grasp the meaning theme by Moriarty which is "domestic violence"
4. Kate Morton
This is the kind of plots that take that would take the readers forward and back in time, the events switch between World War II and the 199s, the distant hours was completely different than what i expected and had put me in awe. This is definitely one the best works written by Morton.
Prepare yourself to embark on an extraordinary journey across the past; the Gothic mystery ... Imagine if you can trace back you family's existence and secrets. The story gets clumsy from time to time, but that's what attracted me the most.
This is an outstanding novel written By Morton who has the ability to make a dead picture vivid in your imagination. The story begins when a girl dives in a journey to uncover some old secrets before ahead of her mom's death. Bombs will fall on you as you are reading, so it's better to take cover. Moriarty wrote this one using intense events that keep twisting and going back and forth in time.
5. Sarah Addison Allen
This is one of my favorite books of Sarah Addison Allen's novels; she wrote this novel as she was planting some beautiful flowers and trees with care, and love and most importantly a language that will open your lust to finishing this book until the last word. This is a book that will grab your hand and take you to a magical place- a celestial apple tree, super food, be weary not to indulge so much for you may wake up and find yourself in an ordinary world limited with our imagination.
A Sweet young southern girl, with a spoiled family and an upside-down life found the right book in a mysterious way, at some point i was wondering if she has found it or is it that book found her? This had me curious and conscious about what she is going to find in this mysterious book.
This is a follow up for Garden Spells; Allen decided to write this novel specifically to her readers who were eager to know what happened after Garden spells. I liked the Garden Spells more than this one, but it has some beauty too.
